Refund Policy

Overlap is free to download and try, so you can confirm it works for you before you pay. Because of that, all purchases are final.

All sales are final

Overlap licenses are sold on an all-sales-final basis. Once your license key has been issued, the purchase is non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law (see below). Because you can evaluate Overlap’s free tier before buying, please make sure it’s right for you before completing your purchase.

Exceptions required by law

Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Where the law requires a refund — for example, if the software is faulty or not as described — we will honor it. If you’re a consumer in the EU or UK, by purchasing and immediately receiving your license key you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that any statutory right of withdrawal ends once delivery has begun.

Billing problems

If you were charged in error, charged more than once, or never received your license key, that’s not a refund — it’s a mistake, and we’ll fix it. Email support@overlapchats.com with your order number (it’s on your Paddle receipt). Paddle, our Merchant of Record, may also issue refunds at its own discretion under its buyer-protection terms.

Trouble activating?

If Overlap won’t activate or isn’t working as described, please contact us before requesting a refund — we’ll help you get it running, and if we genuinely can’t, we’ll make it right.
